YEAR 11 Advanced Maths Tutoring Course
Master Your Preliminary Mathematics
The New National Curriculum for Advanced Mathematics commences for Year 11 in Term 1, 2019. If you are currently in Year 12, go to the Year 12 Mathematics and Extension 1 Current Syllabus page.
Dynamic Math will comprehensively cover the entire new syllabus, with visual displays of ideas for ease of conceptual understanding, explanations, examples, practice problems, and exam style questions to challenge your thinking.
Since Year 12 commences in Term 4, we also commence our Year 12 Math courses in Term 4 of each year. Look out for our Holiday Programs.
The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) has not yet published all of the supporting documentation to the new syllabus. As we don’t want to assume the content of this material, the course content below is subject to change.
This Course is designed for:
- all students in Years 11 & 12 Advanced Mathematics new curriculum in 2019
The topics covered for Year 11 Advanced Mathematics include:
Algebraic techniques, Trigonometry, Further Algebraic Techniques
Functions, Equations and Functions, Further Trigonometry
Introduction to Differentiation, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Probability, Discrete Probability Distributions
The topics covered for Year 12 Advanced Mathematics include:
Rates and Ratios, Network Concepts (Networks, Shortest path)
Differential calculus (Rules for differentiation and differentiation of exponential and logarithmic functions), First and second derivatives, Graphing techniques
Anti-derivative, Integral Calculus.
Financial Math (Modelling Investments and loans, arithmetic and geometric series and sequences, Financial applications of series and sequences, Advanced financial modelling), Statistical Analysis (Bivariate Data Analysis, continuous random variables).
